Walter Gonzalez, Jr.
CEO, President, and Founder
An entrepreneur through and through, he built the company from the ground up more than 11 years ago by applying his mixed expertise in accounting, law, and finance to make GOJA one of the largest and fastest-growing Amazon and marketplace sellers in the world. That experience has helped GOJA evolve from an ecommerce retailer into product and software development. His vision was to develop the CPG company of the future, able to capitalize on the Amazon-dominated landscape, and today GOJA is that company.
He holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business from Florida International University and a Law degree from The George Washington University School of Law. He resides in Miami with his family.
James Cline
Chief Financial Officer
James Cline is the chief financial officer at GOJA. He has more than 25 years of financial leadership and operations experience. Before joining GOJA James helped to turn around the US division of leading global optical retailer GrandVision as CFO, also serving as interim CEO. His previous experience includes roles as CFO for an Inc. 5000 technology solution provider; VP of Finance for CBS Sports.com, a NASDAQ traded interactive sports media company; and CFO of a real estate development firm, a commercial printing company, and an owner/operator of radio networks and stations. He has successfully transferred his skills across industries including business services, retail, consumer, distribution, industrial/manufacturing, real estate & e-commerce.
James received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso. James enjoys running and golf and lives with his family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Luis Canedo
Vice President, Operations
President, GOJA Bolivia
Luis Canedo is President of GOJA Bolivia. He came on board during the early days of GOJA Bolivia to power up and grow that office by recruiting top talent and developing operational systems. Among his achievements, Luis won Ebay’s Seller Collection Contest for the category of ‘Most Followed Collection’ and created Riskless, a business intelligence tool for ROI and revenue analysis for Amazon, which exhibited at the Collision Tech Conference.
Luis earned a master’s degree in management information technology at the University of Salford in Manchester, United Kingdom. He also holds a degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Católica Boliviana.
Sebastian Gonzalez
Vice President, Ecommerce and Amazon Strategy
Sebastian is the vice president of Ecommerce and Amazon strategy at GOJA. He helps GOJA achieve double-digit year-over-year growth by applying his extensive ecommerce insights to all aspects of the sales process, from product development and branding to SEO and customer engagement.
Sebastian started his first Amazon business while still in high school buying textbooks from local schools and reselling them across the country. Today, he is a leading expert on Amazon marketing and sales strategy responsible for millions of orders.
He earned his BA from Florida State University and continued his education in China (BLCU), learning Mandarin and developing the skills he would use to source dozens of Amazon #1 best sellers at GOJA. With Sebastian’s sales and merchandising leadership GOJA has become one of the top online marketplace sellers in the world.
Sergio Alexander Campos
Vice President, Technology
Sergio serves as vice president of Technology at GOJA. His previous experience as CIO of Navarro Pharmacy, the highest grossing pharmacy chain in the nation per square foot at the time, is the foundation for the technology he is helping develop at GOJA.
He was part of the executive transition team when Navarro was acquired by a private equity firm and subsequently sold to CVS. Part of Sergio’s responsibility was the integration of several proprietary software created at Navarro and adopted by CVS nationally. A love of innovation runs through his veins and first guided Sergio to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Florida International University in Miami, FL.
Silvia Piedra
Vice President, Human Resources
Silvia joins GOJA’s executive team with over 20 years of Human Resources experience in multiple industries. She has occupied leadership roles for the last 14 of those years, working on teams in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean. During her previous experience as Senior Director, People Business Partner at Cable & Wireless, she focused on building and supporting a high-performance culture while achieving high people engagement in the groups she catered. She provides strategic expertise on organizational design, capability building, and workforce planning aimed at meeting ever-changing business needs.
Silvia earned her bachelor’s degree in Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Andres Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela.
Mauricio Del Solar
Vice President, Supply Chain
Mauricio is vice president of Supply Chain and logistics at GOJA Bolivia S.R.L. He has extensive experience in the area of textile manufacturing all over the world. He was the sales manager for the largest clothing manufacturer in Bolivia and traveled worldwide working with clients in the U.S. and elsewhere. Mauricio lived in multiple Latin American countries as a top executive for manufacturing companies. Eventually, Mauricio owned his own manufacturing company with clients in the US and Latin America.
His expertise in manufacturing, sourcing, and product development is a key contributor to the GOJA strategy. GOJA prides itself in delivering top of the line products, and Mauricio ensures this goal is met with every piece of inventory. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Florida International University in Miami, FL.
